The Castle is scheduled to open on May 29! Park staff are busy sprucing up the interior and getting ready to welcome visitors again.

The Friends are thrilled to offer members a fun way to help prepare the Castle for a new season.

What's the deal, you ask? Well, some of the Castle guides are newly hired and need some practice giving Castle tours before the official opening. So, members of the Friends of Gillette Castle State Park get the opportunity to help them practice by participating in small-group tours of the Castle this weekend! These tours will be very small - only six guests per group.

When: Saturday morning, May 22. We will have staggered start times starting at 9:30 a.m. and the last start time is 11:15 a.m. The tour is approximately 45 minutes long.

How: In accord with state COVID guidelines, we are asking you to sign up for staggered start times, using an online sign up process. New members of the Friends will receive instructions about how to sign up for these tours via email.
