Presentation: Alice Hamilton, pioneer of occupational medicine in the United States

Please join us from 12 to 1:30 pm on Saturday June 3 to learn about the fascinating life of Alice Hamilton! Alice was the first female professor at Harvard Medical School and the founder of occupational medicine, industrial toxicology, and industrial hygiene. She was one of the original creators of a system to report on and contain epidemics, and she lived around the corner from William Gillette near the ferry landing.
This talk will take place at the Visitor’s Center. Refreshments will be served.
